Alice is an experienced professional who works collaboratively with clients, using interventions from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including family systems, cognitive-behavioral, acceptance and commitment therapies, as well as existential and humanistic theories. The specific interventions are determined by the client's level of readiness to change their current life circumstances. Alice places high value of the therapeutic bond between the client and herself. Alice's areas of strength in working with clients include eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder), chemical abuse/dependency issues, relationship problems and pre-marital counseling, dysfunctional family of origin issues, depression, anxiety, work-related stress, and grief and loss. She also has a particular interest in working with people who are making the transition from one stage of life to the next.
