Alice is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor with ten years experience working in the counseling profession. She is also certified as a Registered Addictions Specialist, having worked in chemical dependency and addiction treatment for over five years. Other mental health environments where Alice has worked include acute mental health and crisis services, family counseling centers and alternative high schools. She has maintained a private practice for six years.

Alice's "mid-life crisis" followed a full career of having worked as an administrator in several different university settings. Knowing that one is not necessarily wedded to a single career choice, she decided to heed a calling to work with people in a more intimate and meaningful manner. This decision is one which has proven to be more challenging and more rewarding that she could ever have imagined!

Alice holds a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University in Northern California.
